The CoolPay card is created for young people ages 8-17, CoolPay empowers kids to earn, complete Tasks, set savings goals, and learn to spend responsibly.

Where is the card accepted?

The CoolPay card can be used anywhere, ATM, online and in-store.
However to safeguard our cardholders who are kids, and we’ve put guardrails in place. CoolPay also works internationally in 150+ other countries.

Can a parent place a limit on the CoolPay card?

Yes, the parent can place a limit on the amount their children can spend to instil discipline and guide them in developing good spending habits.

How do I activate my card?

You can activate your card from the CoolPayKids App

What if the card get stolen or misplaced?

If either of the two should occur first block the card on the app and notify us. Send us an email to reactivate if the card is found.

Is it safe to enter my Bank Verification Number (BVN) during the registration process?

Yes, at CoolPay we know that issues like security, protection from fraud and personal privacy mean as much to you as it does to us. With that in mind, our advanced security measures with a state-of-the art website that employs 128-bit encryption, the highest level of protection for financial transactions.

What if the card gets stolen or misplaced?

You can always dispute charges as well by contacting our card provider at disputes@cliq.com with details on what happened. Please make sure to include the name of the card holder and the card number.

Can a parent place a limit on the CoolPay card?

Yes a parent can, the parent is involved in instilling the required discipline and habits in a child to spend wisely.

How do you send money to a CoolPay card?

Adding money to your kid’s prepaid card just got easier and more functional! Just link your debit card to your parent account. Then choose how to give your kids money:
1. Initiate regular pocket money transfers
2. Make instant one-off payments to your child
3. Set tasks for them to earn upon completion.
4. You can all top up or add money from the parent wallet to Childs wallet.

Can parents move funds from their parent account to accounts in other commercial banks?

Yes, parents can move funds from their accounts in other banks and to other account in another commercial banks from their parent account. We recognise that parents maintain accounts with other banks, therefore we have made transfer from and to the CoolPay app hitch free.
